No real reason for this, just a statement. Best. Comic. Ever.

Calvin and Hobbes is my all time, hands down favorite cartoon. Funny as hell. I miss them too.

I have an old-fashioned binder from the early 80's with C&H comics that I cut out of my paper every day. I love them so much and yes, they're my all-time-fave, too, DJ. Of course I have all of the books but haven't gotten around to the new fully-collected hardbacks. Not sure I will.

I reallyreally hope that Watterson one day brings Calvin back.

I can't say emphatically enough how much I HATE.....DESPISE.....REVILE all of those Calvin-pissing-on-things stickers. :evil: :evil:

So many great ones: the snowmen he'd make; the transmogrifier; daydreaming in class; Susie Derkins; the evil babysitter; the school picture goofy-face; Spaceman Spiff.....

I tried putting some faves here but they were huge.

I loved that cartoon too.

Thank god for the complete collection;
I have to pull that out for a good chuckle every few months

I miss not only Calvin and Hobbes, but also The Far Side and Bloom County.

I've never actually seen them in a newspaper, but my dad had a buch he'd saved...and I loved all of them!

My school drama club recently (last night, in fact) did a one-act play based on the Calvin and Hobbes comics. My brother was Hobbes, and it was really funny. :D

I loved Bloom County but haven't been able to get into his other stuff. Opus sucks, imo. Maybe 1 time out of a month will I laugh. It's just not the same.

Far Side rocks! I still but the calendars, even though there's nothing new. Classic.

These days I like Overboard, The Dinette Set, Get Fuzzy and Frazz. Some say Frazz is plagiarism on Calvin and Hobbes....I think it's an homage. I haven't seen BW suing him yet. :D If you haven't seen it, check it out- same kind of humor, different characters.

I love Get Fuzzy. I also dig "Pearls Before Swine", "Non Sequitur" and "Ryhmes With Orange".

I don't really care for "Frazz". I've only read a couple of strips, and I didn't find them funny.

There's alot of people who think Neil Gaiman should sue J. K. Rowling over Harry Porter, because HP is similar to Tim Hunter from Gaiman's Books of Magic.
