To non comics geeks I strongly recommend SCOTT PILGRIM.

If you don't know it already GO READ SCOTT PILGRIM NOW!!!! REALLY!!!

It's the creation of canadian artist Bryan Lee O'Malley, published by Oni Press, and it's in its fourth volume now. They are all great!

I recall Rom. Idea started from toy. I used to have most of series. I think Bill Mantlo wrote series. Bill had serious accident. Mike Mantlo takes care of Bill. Mike is Bill's brother. I noticed tribute book about Bill. I supported tribute book with donation.

I hope to some day meet Neal Gaiman. Perhaps someday he will attend comic book convention that I go to.

I would like to make to recommendation of the new just released title Chew. If you like C.S.I., just imagine Grissom eating perps to gain knowledge of their wrong doings. The main character Detective Chu can eat a hamburger and feel the agony of the cow before it's final hours in the slaughterhouse. The main plot is once a serial killer chef accidentally cuts himself and bleeds a little in the soup he's preparing for Chu, it's up to Chu to figure out a way to put this psycho away without looking like a lunatic to his peers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Chew #2 is out today, pick your copy up while you can. This series is red HOT! I couldn't one in the whole state and had to buy it on ebay for $13. It's going for $20 now and it's only 6 hours old.
