Heart Shaped Box

Postby Donna_S on Sun Nov 11, 2007 4:21 pm

:D I'm not a baseball fan....but I'm happy that the Red Sox were in the post-season....because if my mother the Red Sox fan had not seen SK sitting in the stands reading a book during a ball game, and said "Hey, I didn't know Stephen King's kid wrote a book?", I may not have stumbled upon Heart Shaped Box, and that would have been a tragedy!

I literally just finished the book, and am physically and emotionally drained! What a great tale. I'm not one for ghost stories, but I've just ordered 4 copies of this to give to friends for Christmas...that is perhaps the best compliment I can give any author.

20th Century Ghosts is next....once I've caught my breath.

Nice job :) Sorry I missed you while you were touring in New England!

If she's been here longer than I have, can I still welcome her? Let's find out . . . Welcome Donna! It worked!
Heart-Shaped Box was amazing. I bought 20th Century Ghosts on Sunday, and have been loving every word of it!
Ooops, I forgot to put down a signature.

Hi, Well it's time to get cracking on HSB . I think it will be a good read.
Now I have some slack time to do so.

awwww. Teasing is a form of flattery. I am sure of it.
Hello Dona. I read it quick too. It scared me enough so that i woke up my room mate on a lame pretext. just didn't feel like reading it when alone.

I finished the book as well. I thought it was good for a first novel.
