First Annual August Chalk-off

Postby Shane on Mon Jul 30, 2007 9:57 am

There's a new announcement over at the blog that is worth checking out, with plenty of fun stuff as prizes. All the rules and conditions are mentioned in the July 30th entry, but should you have any questions at all, shoot 'em my way.

Alright! Chalk it up! :D

How many times can you enter? Did it say that? Entries have to be in by when? It probably said that too, didn't it?

I've listened to the song. You know not what you've done.

I can't draw even a chalky straight line, but I've emailed my sister to see if either of her two young girls can.

Is there a way to just send a pic in the snail mail, I have no way to send through the computer???

Sure... if it comes to that, then I'll give you an address where you can drop it in the mail. :)

Yes, I had to go buy chalk. I just gave away a bucket of chalk not too long ago because my kids had outgrown the fun of sidewalk chalk. But I got the big super-de-dooper bucket o' chalk and I also own artists chalks, so I am ready to do my thang. One, two, three, four...wow! FIVE chalk words in this first paragraph--overkill.

But, our house computer has done something--it won't let us get past the Windows start up page and then it goes back to a bunch of instructions that they don't give you enough time to read--I don't know how to fix it. And that's the computer I would send my entry from.

I'm not sure how to download anything into my laptop. I could just put it in My Pictures, right? I don't have to have some special program, right?

I am so sick of being retarded.

First of all, I believe if you are putting the pick from your camera into your laptop I think it's upload, not down load and yes, you can drop it right into "my pictures" You can drop them into almost any file you want them in.

Have fun.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with..

Still need to FIND my damn chalk!!!

You say upload, I say download. Whatever. I'm old and that's the way I roll. Just go with me on this.

Lordy, it was 90-freakin-5 degrees today and even now at 7 pm the concrete is too hot to sit on. I'm waiting for the heat wave to break before I start chalking.....I'm ready and strangely excited about this. :D
