Where is everyone? Are you all still sequestered away reading Deathly Hallows?

I've never seen it this dead here......

Guess I'll go re-read some more bits.......

Well, since I've not read a single Potter book (yet), I'm not in the Hallow's! :)

I'm here, off and on. Lots going on this summer. We're off to see Mamma Mia on stage this weekend!

Abba rocks!!!

*Okay, they really don't, but I can't pass up a good musical*

8)

Hope you're good.

Can I just be the first to say: What the hell is wrong with you?!?!?!

You haven't been reading Harry Potter?!?!! Screw Mamma Mia - go to your local library and check out The Sorcerer's Stone!

I own the first four books!! I KNOW I need to read them!!!

So many books....so little time. :)

And, I'm NOT gonna screw Mamma Mia--we just barely met. 8)

WTF, Bill? I'd say that by now you've surely gotten enough glowing recommendations of J.K's work to bump those books to the top of the TBR pile, huh??

I know. I KNOW!!!!! And, it's not that I'm a slow learner or nuthin'!

I just need to "feel" when the time is right. Fantasy and scorcery typically are not my thing, but I understand the magnitude of this series.

I promise you that I will read it and you will ALL know when I do! :D

Bill- I just don't see the HP books in the "fantasy/sorcery" vein at all! I think of books like The Dragons of Pern to be there. The Potter books have more of a DT feel- you will be so sucked in and care so much about the charcters, who are so very believable....

Read Them Next.
You will NOT be disappointed- I promise!!!

(You tell him, Janice!)

What funny names Val? I think I went to school with a Bellatrix......worked with a Mundungus, Remus and a Marvolo......used to babysit a girl named Hermione.....slept with a hot, dark-eyed man named Severus....wait! that was just some dreams I've had- oops!
:P

Dana- I see where you're coming from (except the yeast infection. Haven't had one in years, thank God!)
The hub expected sex while I was reading the book. Can you imagine? Just because it was our anniversary. Sheesh. I did put it down, though. Didn't want it getting stained......
Now hurry up and finish so we can talk about it!!!

Okay, I promise to start the series this fall! I 'll likely take about a year to get through all of them. As I did with the DT books, I'll read one, then read something contrasting in between, etc.

I'll start collecting the remaining books now. You guys really know how to pressure a guy!

Val, you should feel the pressure too! 8)

I still haven't read a Harry Potter book, I saw the first 2 movies and really didn't care much for them, Just me no doubt, but I'm the lady that hated the Lord Of The Rings movies as well. The last one was OK, but only cause I knew it was over and wouldn't get dragged to the teater again
I agree it's dead on the boards, all of them, even the chicky lala's are reading HP
