POSTSCRIPTS 10 - Joe's thoughts on Zoran Zivkovic

Postby val04463 on Mon May 21, 2007 8:48 pm

I've been thinking Dana Jean...you seem to have kind of a hard time figuring out or perhaps sticking to, the Love Of Your Life....
so I have a plan..

You should do one of those Bracket Thingys like Joe did..only you could pit smooth-talking men from today's Internet Message boards against Smooth Singing Long-Haired Men from the Eighties...You could think Long and Hard about the Match-ups...and when every thing was said and done..

Jon Bon Jovi would win....I guarantee it...He's perfect..although no one writes a story review as well as Paul, some STILL look great in a pair of Black Leather pants.

I am so there with you val. Jon is definitely finger lickin' good. (No icky jokes about secret sauce please.)

Yeah. I'd do him.

And then I'd do him again.

Poor Paul. He had a wonderful, thoughtful thread going here. Smart and insightful -- and then WHAM! I hamstring him with my juvenile locker room gags.

Sorry.

It's the price of admission, Dana Jean. What you lose in intellectual conversation, you gain in witty banter and marriage proposals.

Personally, I think Paul is doing juuuuuust fine with the trade off.

So - Paul is from Scotland, then? How ya feeling about the possibility of accent-tinged dirty whispers in your ear, DJ? And do I get an invite to the wedding??

(And did you at least send Mark James a 'Dear John' PM??)
*A sobering thought: What if, at this very moment, I AM living up to my full potential?

Mark who?

Paul and I will be dining on haggis and I might even kiss his blarney stones.

Paul-
Thanks for your thoughts! I really appreciate it. And comparing me to Kelly Link- wow. Makes me blush.

POSSIBLE POSTSCRIPT STORY "MUD SKIN" SPOILERS.....

Mr. Jessup, if you are there. I read your story in Postscripts and overall, I liked it.

I did hit a glitch right off the bat, I wasn't quite sure where we were going--but once the story started taking shape, I jumped right in. It reminded me of an old Night Gallery/Twilight Zone/Outer Limits type tale--and just so you know, the Mud Kid--that was my fucking teenager. No soul; total ass; trying to take over, change things. Unique and thought provoking. Good job. I would read more of your work.

Glad you enjoyed it so much! It's nice to hear all that time spent on perfecting it did not go to waste.
