first, so sorry about your grandma. she sounds like she was a wonderful person...i'm sorry for the loss to all of you. this would be your mom's mom, i take it? condolences to her, and your whole family. i'm so sorry we've given you a hard time for being away when you had this going on in your life!

i'd like to add my condolences regarding your grandma. i lost my maternal grandma in 2001 and my maternal great grandma in 2005. my great granny was 97, still lived on her house, tending her garden and was my rock-i miss her everyday.

i loved your little story with jude and georgia-it made chuckle.

Joe- my deepest sympathies to you and your family in the loss of your Grandma. In 3 weeks it'll be 2 years since I lost my beloved Gramma. We were lucky to have had them so long, is all I can think.

The poem was beautiful and it made me smile at the end. Thanks for sharing that.

I'm off to check out the short story.....the title makes me chuckle. :)

Ok, I'm back. The end of that was like a dream.....hm.....

Back again after reading your recommended stuff.

Man.

You make me wish I had the luck to win the lottery or the cajones to rob a bank.

I want it all........ :)

My condolences on the passing of your grandmother, Joe. it looks like you have some fine memories to remember her by though. Thank you for sharing the poem that she wrote as well.

Sorry about grandma. She sounds like one cool broad. And, I liked the fact that she wrote for the enjoyment of it.

Thanks for the extra story. I liked the ending.

And I always appreciate the nudge to new things.

Thanks for the update and sharing all that.

good thing for mike lowrie, tho, after he posted such a blatant spoiler, or i woulda had some scolding words for him. as it is: mike, you might wanna post a spoiler warning before you blurt out shit like that, dude.
