hacked site: how to get some of the stuff back

All about the site.

Postby LauraK on Tue Jan 01, 2008 4:51 pm

I'm seeing it now....it's that lovely pic of Art floating off into the sky and below it, it says this:

Joehillfiction is getting an overhaul. We'll be back in early '08, promise.

In the meantime you can still visit Joe's message board, MySpace page, or HarperCollins profile. You can also dig deeper into the world of Judas Coyne at the the Heart-Shaped Box site. Those interested in Joe's upcoming comic, Locke & Key, can find a five page preview of the first issue at IDW Comics.

And of course, you can buy books. Here's a handy list of online retailers selling 20th Century Ghosts and Heart-Shaped Box.

Yes...Shane is THE WebMaster! I still love that picture of Art. Sometimes I think I'd like to have an inflatable doll custom made to look like Art to keep for my very own.

Don't say it DJ. Or you grasking. I know you want to.

I can imagine putting it all back together again is very TEDIOUS! yuck! Good luck especially in keeping those annoying hackers out!

The content from the site is tucked away. There's a minor update on the front of the website right now.

I'll say it!!

Besty Boo wants an inflatable doll for her very own because it'll give her something to "do" to pass the time while she's holed up with her bum foot.

"And PoisonLily comes from outta nowhere and BB goes down. She never even saw it coming!!!"

Truth is, Art might be a bit more animated than what I'm used to.

Good job Joe and Shane!! I love Art and his balloons. But one thing...I clicked all the balloons and couldn't find the blog posts. Are they gone for good? I was really enjoying your posts ("three things...") about the 20thCG stories. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Gosh I hate to seem whiney, but no one answered my question. Maybe it was a stupid question. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but before the SNAFU, you could click on "Joe Hill Fiction" at the top and go straight to his blog. If I'm asking something obvious, I'm sorry, but I still want to see what Joe's thoughts are about the 20thCG stories. How do I find them? Has he stop doing "Three Things About..."?

As the main site is on a hiatus of sorts for a bit, Joe's blog is on a sabbatical, too. All the previous entries are backed up, but not available for the public right now.

The balloons link to items mentioned below the illustration currently on the front page, but that's it -- they don't really go back to the site just yet.

In the meantime, should Joe have stuff to share like he was doing with his blog, he can just throw up a post in here. It's not as fancy looking, sure... but it'll do! :)

I don't believe he's going to stop sharing his "Three Things About..." entries, but they might not be as fast as you all want them. :D
