Crown of Shadows

Wipe your feet on the mat and come on in - Keyhouse is waiting.

Kingpun, both comic shops in my area didn't have L&K #4. So your local comic shop may not be the culprit.

Hi. New member, but I've been reading regularly since the beginning of Head Games.
Crown of Shadows #4 was solid, not my favourite issue in this vol (a little light on dialogue for my taste), however, the art sill managed to completely suck me in and I can't wait for #5 (and #6 which I've really been waiting for since I read we would spend some quality time with Nina).

You know, I relate to Nina in a lot of ways and I'm looking forward to any storyline involving her.

Anybody catch the grey background tinted and blue background tinted variants to the regular COS #3?

I like the blue one better, but I had to have both.

So you're still planning to finish L&K with #36? Right now I can't imagine how you guys could possibly wrap it all up with only 3 more arcs to go, but I hope you can pull it off.

Love today's issue, but was disconcerted by the preview for the next issue. Nina!

I was a bit disapointed with this issue. Don't get me wrong-I love Locke and Key -but this issue was so short! I feel like I waited and waited...and then nothing

While it was a faster read, I was still satisfied. Especially if you read #3 or at least #4 right before it. It was a really ambitious format experiment and I think it worked.

I like how each volume now kind of has its own identity. Welcome to Lovecraft is the eerie one, Head Games is the inventive one, Crown of Shadows is the action packed one. It could be just Bode eating a bowl of cereal for 22 pages in the next issue and 1-5 would still offset it as the most action packed volume.
