Contacted IDW via email. According to the response I got it will be a couple weeks before a subscription is available.
I don't understand how or why they'd take so long to offer a subscription.

Was thinking the same thing about a 1st printing, so I ordered my copy from an eBay store instead. Price was .50 cents less and shipping was half what IDW charges.
Whenever they decide to start a subscription I'll probably go thru them, but until then...oh well.

Today's the day! Gotta brave the elements and get down to the store. Man, the weather is soooo nasty! That subscription option is starting to look pretty good!

Just read CoS #1...it's a good one! Action-packed! Pow! Bang! Wham!

SPOILER:

"Mom" is breaking my heart...when she is talking to Tyler in his room I almost cried. Especially when she says, "Don't ever have children, Tyler, unless you're ready to be afraid everyday for the rest of your life." Geez...when things have been rough around here I've had the exact same thought, though I have never said it aloud. I'll tell you, when it comes to fearing for your kids...THAT'S what true horror is. Nothing else comes close.

Hey, Betsy... get ready, 'cause "Locke Mom" is still going to face a lot more "heartbreaking" moments.... poor Nina!

I loved Crown of Shadows issue #1. Fantastic intro into the new story arc. Definitely worth the wait.

That said, I can't wait for issue #2!

Thanks Joe and Gabriel. You guys continue to amaze.
