Hey, Chris Ryall posted the early pencils on Gabe's cover for issue 2 of CoS (issue 1 should be out the first week of November - two will follow a few weeks later). Go have a look, pretty ridiculously awesome:

Just finished the inking yesterday, so Chris will probably upload that soon... stay tuned!
Also, I don't have to tell you this, but Joe has written an amazing, kick-ass opening issue for Crown Of Shadows!

You know. I may have to start doing that, because I get so busy during this time of the year that I dont get to read the last 2-3 comics that come in. Granted, Ill keep buying the monthly, but I swing by the ol comic store and pick up the paperback.

I find it difficult to read this in installments as well. I get so darned impatient! Sometimes I think I'll just wait for the HC, but then I give in because I have to know what happens next!

Does anyone know when we will be able to purchase a subscription from IDW for COS.

Just noticed something interesting while reading the Head games HC (Great book, top marks Joe, Gabe and IDW!)

In the the prologue Rendell appears to be wearing the Crown of Shadows during the performance scene. At least the symbol on the front of the crown matches the key used on the front cover of CoS #1. Wonder what significance that has for the story, considering he also has the Anywhere key in his hand?

I can't wait for Crown of Shadows to start up. I read L&K as soon as I pick up each issue. No way I could wait, the story and the artwork are just way too good.
