Got issue 2 and finished it, the story is building up nicely, was laughing at the end, when he figured out what the key opened!

noticed another key on top of the grandfather clock, with an hourglass on it, a time control key per chance?

I totally agree, herbie. I browsed around the comic book store when I went to pick up #2 and there just wasn't anything there as eyecatching. BTW, did someone mention when #3 will be out? They've been coming quicker than once a month so maybe by the end of February?

Here's the newest round of reviews for L&K out right now (one has big spoiler-action, so if you've not read-up on stuff, you might wanna skip it):

A big one over at Fresh Ink, who picked L*K as the Pick of the Week again:

Lots'a spoilers, and a perfect review:

Great review, and I’m very happy you like what we’re all doing so far. One note of correction that you couldn’t have known: the story has grown to 36 issues now (plus a 6-pager that’ll run in the IDW 10th anniversary hardcover book this May)…

So Shane is this true that there are going to be 36 issues?
Also a 6 page story in IDW 10th anniversary hadcover book?

I'd trust Chris Ryall on both counts. :)

It seems Issue 3 is out next week, March 4th, as posted by Chris Ryall in one recent post in his blog.

Thanks G...I can't wait! I gotta put IDW on my favs.

And btw, even though I am on a "book diet" L&K doesn't count since it's a comic. Thank goodness for rationalizations!

What a fantastic issue! Can't wait for the next chapter.

SPOILER

And the 2-page glimpse inside Bode's head was simply wonderful, such great artwork.
(I know, probably not a spoiler, but best to be cautious)
