Some Locke & Key original art for sale...

Postby Gabriel on Mon May 25, 2009 3:15 pm

Hi everyone!
Last weekend, I started selling some L&K original art, for the very first time!
I'm still in "trial mode" with my sales agent in the U.S., so we started with just a few pieces. We're checking if this long distance system works properly, as he's helping me 'cause I haven't time to coordinate this in my tight schedule.
For anyone interested, details here:

When I found out you were putting some of your art for sale last week, I immediately got in touch with Jon, as he is one of my favorite contacts. JJ had contacted me about a month ago about you might be doing some separate pieces too. He will tell you, I'm a hardcore high grade comic collector and has been known to drop $750 on a flawless #1 comic graded in perfect CGC 10 as I love your creative line work. Despite having a graded collection of L & K's worth $2,600+ and never collected art before, I feel I might want to jump into collecting original art next basically because it's one of a kind and I really can't decide on a new title to collect that's as good as your series. I really love those Angel covers too.

Seriously G...would you consider a lay-a-way plan?

Gabriel, I love your work. I see the book covers on the linked site, will you also sell interior page artwork?

I'm not selling interior artwork yet, but I'm open to consider it. If I do so, I'll announce it properly.

Beautiful, but too dear for our checkbook.

I wanted to come in here and let you know that a fan has come to the board and put up pics of the 2 Locke and Key tattoos he got. I think you and Joe might be interested in seeing them. :) Look here: http://joehillfiction.informe.com/forum/come-on-in-and-say-hello-f1/new-guy-w-pictures-t1263.html
