Special Edition This Week?...help

Postby James on Tue Sep 08, 2009 8:11 am

Well, this is Labor Day week and just received an email
from my local comic store that this was coming out this week:

LOCKE & KEY WELCOME TO LOVECRAFT SPEC ED #1 5.99

Does anyone have any clue what this is?

Thanks,
James Ashley

To be honest, I haven't called them yet but I'm assuming they will. They know to save anything for me by Joe so I'll give them a call today. Sorry I didn't get around to it! Life got in the way yesterday. And thanks G for posting that!

I went and got mine today. I love my comic book store! They saved it for me like usual. You will be pleased g...it has the original script and "Freddy Wertham..." (in color!!) in addition to the original L&K #1. Beautifully bound and only $5.99! And guess what?!?! They also had gotten some Ghost Keys from their contact at SDCC and saved one of those for me too!!!! Unfortunately their guy didn't get the tag signed by Joe, but maybe someday I'll meet Joe and he can sign it for me then. Even so, it made my day!

I just picked up a copy today on my lunch break at my local comic shop. It's a much thicker, nicer book than I expected given the low $6 price tag. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Older like 20 years?

A friend did her Crow series for better protection from the wee ones in her household.

...and loves them, because let's face it. She knew they became expensive after the Brandon Lee movie and was afraid to touch them anyway. LOL.

She bought all the trades and is happy as a clam the grades turned out high.

Youth bottled up and preserved forever(actually CGC says replace the holder every 7 years).
