I know there was a edition that you could buy that Joe and his dad both signed, i missed out on that one, and now see people trying to sell it for $500+.

Wonder if Joe would be willing to sign the book if it was posted to him with return postage?? Joe would this be possible?

How can they sell it? I ordered that edition and it hasn't been released yet....sometime this month!! :D *rubs hands together gleefully*

Ok, I went to eBay and had a look and at least one seller is stating that he'll ship it as soon as it's in his hands, he assumes late-Feb.

Price-gouging..... :? I need a head-shaking smiley.

yep, happens all the time.

Yeah I know and it sucks, for sure.

I just thought at first that they were misrepresenting that they already had the book.

I know if there was a book I'd somehow missed and had to have and I had the money, I'd go for it at an inflated price. I know there's definitelt a market and people are willing to pay the price....

:)

Hey we've all done it, but can I just say that I have to raise my hands and say that even though, I know Joe's signed Locke & Key's go for crazy money, I was able to get a signed Locke & Key Head Games issue 1, the one that IDW sent out to retailers, for £20 sterling, dont know what that is in dollars, but checked with Joe and IDW to make sure its the real deal and it is, bargin or what!!!

I feel like Ive gotten pretty mucb a signed book from almost all the authors that Ive wanted. The only author that I really follow, and will continue to follow and try to get signed books from is Joe. He is the only one that I will put a effort into it. I would recommend that you meet Joe in person. He really is a cool dude.

I do want to attend an event held by Mr.King. Its on my list of things that I want to do in the next couple of years. With UNDER THE DOME coming out soon, maybe he will do some touring behind it.

If I'm not mistaken Joe has done appearances in the UK...I'm pretty sure his HSB tour included it. I guess that doesn't help you much, but if he did it then there's probably a good chance he'll do it again. Especially since he has such a good relationship with PS Publishing. Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Eventually, you might have a better chance to see him than I do!

Although not yet listed on Amazon, the latest issue of Locus (the science fiction news magazine) shows the trade edition of He is Legend will be published by Tor Books in September 2010.
