Very cool interview.

Thankfully, I think we are moving past the torture porn fascination...somewhere around Hostel II and Saw 57 people started losing interest. I suspect it was that, much more than any reviews that leaked early, that killed Hostel II in the box office.

(I originally enjoyed Saw and Hostel, because I found the ideas behind them to be terrifying, but they failed to engage me after the presentation turned to simply showing torture. So I'm glad the fad is dying.)
