If you like her, watch Hard Candy. She was also in the third X-Men movie.

Went to see Romero's Diary of the Dead last week. Thought it was OK but not a patch on Night, Dawn or Day. His thunder has been stolen by Cloverfield regarding the actors filming the action.

To be honest, I think Romero has lost it a bit. I thought Land was pretty naff. Hope its not a slippery slope to oblivion for him.....

Anyone else been to see it?

I saw "Kung-Fu Panda" with my son a couple of weeks ago. It was funny and cute and had a good message.

I saw Hancock. It was okay, not as great as I thoughtit would be. I thought the story line got a little loose at the end, like they forgot what it was abot themselves until the last 15 minutes or so. Rent it if you're going to watch it. And if you have a problem with the word asshole, don't watch it. They use it a lot. I think they even hit the quota for using that word in one persons lifetime. If they didn't, they should have.

Ooooo, Mark- I'm so glad to hear it reminded you of Pan's Labyrinth! The previews were reminiscent. I can't WAIT to see it!! Thanks for the mini-review. :)

Yep, if Peter Jackson can't do it, DelToro is a great 2'nd choice for The Hobbit. Should (hopefully) be good.

Last weekend I went to see WALL*E. Didn't get to finish it, though. Liked what I saw.

Audrey and I saw Hancock and Journey to the Center of the Earth last Saturday.

Hancock was better than we expected (and I got a kick out of the numerous John Lee Hooker tracks playing in the background!) but both Audrey and I felt the Brendan Fraser vehicle was a missed opportunity: they didn't utilize the 3D element anywhere near as well as they could have. There were some great shots right at the beginning which wetted your appetite... and then that was really kind of it. (And at £8.80 a ticket - simply because they're supplying 3D glasses, which you keep, but then what friggin' good are they anywhere else? - I expected A LOT more.)

Still, Brendan's up coming Tomb of the Dragon Emperor looks excellent!

Going to go see Wall-E and The Dark Knight next week.

Damn................. 300, on my military leave. I hate going to the movies. Never enjoy the film. Crying babies. Cell phones. Shit like that pisses me off.
Def gonna see the new Batman, though.
