It's one of my all-time favorites too. Hollywood remake coming fast though  . They are most likely not going to do it justice.

Please say you're kidding! One of the beautiful things about this movie is it's sweet subtlety. I don't think "subtle" is a part of the Hollywood mentality! They'll probably turn it into a "Twilight" clone! :(

Gosh...I don't know if I'm gonna go see that. I'll have to wait until someone I know and trust recommends it. But thanks for letting me know about it.

I see his point.

I have no interest in this remake or the OLD BOY remake.

I watched the remake of Children of The Corn, have to watch the original now as well!

But am in agree meant with you all over Let The Right One In, why does Hollywood need to remake things?? The Origianl film is always better!!

Well herbie...whenever a foreign film makes money, someone in Hollywood thinks..."I can make more!" I hate it when money becomes a driving factor in art.

BTW, I'm watching "Young Frankenstein" on AMC..."My grandfather's work was doo-doo!!" I can't believe it's the 35th anniversary! I remember seeing this one in the theater when I was a teen. How can 35 years have passed??? I loved this movie! It came out before you could buy it on tape, but I bought everything that was associated with it including the LP and the book. When I finally got it on VHS, I already had it mostly memorized!
