Movie help - all I can remember is that the woman takes the baby and goes to live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere with the baby's dad's father (not WITH, but staying there) and then the dad comes to see them, and she doesn't leave with them. A scene on the porch...I can't remember the movie, or the actors, but I NEED to know - it's driving me nuts!

I hate it when that happens! I'm sorry Mel, but it doesn't sound familiar to me. I wouldn't be surprised if I'd seen it though, once I hear the title. My memory is shot!

Does it have Robert Duvall in it? Is it a western type movie?

Or would it be Affliction? I cannot remember what actors were in that.

I'm just grasping at straws though...

I thought of Robert Duvall, as the dad, but checked IMDB and it wasn't him - none of his movies on the list struck me as the right one. Damn, now I'm gonna start thinking about it again.....

Crazy Heart was CRAZY good - probably the first movie in a long time I'd give 5 out of 5 stars to! Soooo good

and it wasn't a western - I think like a romantic drama type. It would've been in the last couple of years, since I met my husband....

The Collector was ok...some nice bloody scenes, but nothing really new that hasn't been done...kind of reminded me of a SAW type of movie, just not the guessing game in it.

I really liked Pandorum...thought it was a pretty good movie...
