not really a one hit wonder but i relish any chance to inflict my love of 80's new wave on public.
we're from america. we're from america. we turn literature into litter.
we're from america. we're from america. we believe in being a quitter.

Not sure if it's a one hit wonder, but it still holds up well after all these years.

This got a lot of air play back in the day. Mark Sandman went on to form Morphine.

after seeing those i have to ask a minor metaphysical question: are we the same person?
we're from america. we're from america. we turn literature into litter.
we're from america. we're from america. we believe in being a quitter.

i just finished burning a c.d. mix to play at work.
Nothing new, but I'm really digging "Joe Cocker", and his version of Keep on Keepin On.
I've always liked that song, and "Joe Cocker's" gravel-throated voice is one of the best at
belly-achin'- soul savin' R&B that I've heard.
Speaking of which: the best of 'em all, "U2 with B.B.King"- When Love Comes to Town. ((sizzlin hot))
To break it up a little, I included different music including: "Lenny Kravitz- u]American Woman[/u]
and slipped in Going to California by-"Led Zeppelin"- to cool it off.
These tunes should go over good with our troops (oh yeah!)
That's who I aim to please most when I put c.d's together. They visit my store on the way over and returning,
and I like them to enjoy good beloved American tune's in the U.S.A!
Tokens of appreciation come in weird packages and this is one of mine..
Any suggestion's?
