Civil war

I was thinking..the actions of the democrats, the liberal democratic media, are so filthy, so un-American, as to warrant a civil war. I think producing Obama, especially in the manner which they did, is treason. It doesn't matter if you are in the majority. If you hate America we have every right to take her back.

Let us hope and pray it does not come to that.

The irony is that those in “revolt” will most likely be fighting for a return to Constitutional Law…attempting to re-enforce the Laws of the Land that have long been ignored.

Imagine if you would simply striking down all Federal Laws violating the 10th Amendment…
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

We are perhaps already waging a (un)civil war.

BARONE: The coming liberal thugocracy…

“Once upon a time, liberals prided themselves, with considerable reason, as the staunchest defenders of free speech.”

Look at the Liberals of today…Tolerant? the staunchest defenders of free-speech?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQalRPQ8stI

Barone continues:
Today's liberals seem to be taking their marching orders from other quarters. Specifically, from the college and university campuses where administrators, armed with speech codes, have for years been disciplining and subjecting to sensitivity training any students who dare to utter thoughts that liberals find offensive. The campuses that once prided themselves as zones of free expression are now the least free part of our society.
Obama supporters who found the campuses congenial and Mr. Obama himself, who has chosen to live all his adult life in university communities, seem to find it entirely natural to suppress speech they don't like and seem utterly oblivious to claims this violates the letter and spirit of the First Amendment. In this campaign, we have seen the coming of the Obama thugocracy, suppressing free speech, and we may see its flourishing in the four or eight years ahead.

From other threads, I guess many liberals view these antics as “standing up to bullies,” and then whine about an unknown shouting “terrorist” from the crowd about Obama.

Bravo to poster Trueblue for summing it up so well:

“…the current tenor of the Democratic party is far more vicious. Granted, during political discussions, my conservative friends usually treat me with condescension, but I would rather that than the biting personal put-downs that I get from my liberal friends.”

It does? Where are the examples of Republicans vandalizing Democratic rallies or HQs?

A conservative on an average college campus receives the same respect as your average liberal?

Mark, in that youtube video you posted why was that street closed off? My guess is it wasn't for a pro-McCain rally. I'm not condoning the crowds reaction, but it seems like that video was a set up.

How often do you see news of “disruptives” being removed from Republican events compared to Democratic Party events? Do Republican radicals crash and heckle Obama events with the same frequency that Democratic Radicals crash McCain events?

Honestly, what do you consider Right’s examples of the Left’s ‘Code Pink’ rabid crowd? Which party truly exhibits more tolerance for the opposing view?
