More like, you realize how much something means to you when it is taking away. As opposed to now that my husband might become president I love our country. In other words, now that its done something for me.

Demo, if anyone, you should see past this bullshit (which amazes me cause your the one posting it?????), being a vet and all. I know many a vet (including myself) who didnt really understand what it was to love your country until it long since fades in the rear view mirror. And to come back to it after so long is when that love was undeniable. You know damn well what McCain meant, you know you do. But the video is kinda funny when taken out of context, true enough.
She isnt running for president????? Really??? Sorry to be sarcastic but my exact words were 'As opposed to now that MY HUSBAND might become president I love our country.'
I guess to simplify what am trying to say, there are many legit concerns that can be raised about both candidates, but John McCains patriotism is NOT one of them. Thats just a losing battle. But am sure MSNBC and CNN and CBS and the BBC and fuck, even Al Jazeera can turn it into a winning one. All the while with their pinky nestled snuggly in that warm brownish hole we call Mr. Obamas butthole. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Just trying to make a point that if you look hard enough.....you can find stuff that isnt exactly the truth...about McCain and Obama and that people are making a big deal about EVERY LITTLE THING......who has their hand over their heart and so on and so forth....

I understand what your trying to say but it is almost undeniable that there is SOMETHING with SOME substance concerning Obama. I mean, the good Rev, William Ayers, the pledge, the lapel pin, 'first time I've been in love', 'downright mean', there is SOMETHING there. And am not saying its much. And I DO believe it HAS been taken out of proportion a bit. I actually think I know what it is: a general feeling in the minds of many liberal that America in imperfect (to say the least), and 'downright mean'. This belief (feeling) simply manifested itself into his associations, some of his actions, and into his wife's (who represents him as his other (better) half, in many respects) words. There is SOMETHING there. Its not all just smoke and mirrors. But prob mostly.
