I had a chance to read a borrowed ARC of HSB last month. Great stuff, man. I hope it sells like gangbusters.

HSB is such a creative, well-written book. I was honored to be able to read it. I loved every minute of the story.
I would also like to give a big shout-out to his wife for being a great first reader--because, as we all know, It Takes a Village to Raise an Author.

Still on my TBR list. I love the premise and that the character is a rock star. Maybe after GHOUL I can get to it.

Nice review in the Romantic Times. I saw the one in Fangoria but imagine my surprise when I spotted this one.

Now, the question arises, what was I doing reading The Romantic Times ? Research, of course. I work at a bookstore and I have to do research.
and
The Romantic Times have a mystery/fiction . Uh yeah. That's it.

Where I work, it'll be 40% off. I can't wait to start upselling this sucker.

I should've read it a while back since I had the chance (an ARC), but there's so much good stuff out there right now. I'm going to read it soon, though. It's up next.

I've got a copy ordered from Shocklines that I plan on diving into the day it arrives. I've only heard great things about this one Joe.

Got my actual copy today. Even though I have an ARC, I wanted to have a real copy for the bookshelves.

Started the book over again.

Bought this at Border's yesterday. SLURP YUMMY finished it in one long sitting...well, it wasn't all 'sitting', but let me tell you it was not easy cooking dinner last night with this book glued to my face.

I admire the heck out of Mr Hill for the fact that nowhere in this book is the name 'Stephen King' mentioned. Clearly he wants his work to stand on its own merits.

Not to worry, Mr Hill. This book is fabulous and you've been added to my 'buy immediately' list of authors. The fact that you may have inherited some abilities from two very talented parents is notable but not a guarantee of quality. There are plenty of no-talent children of famous Moms and Dads...trust me, you are not one of them.

As an avid reader, I am always thrilled to add a new name to my list of favorite authors (also known as 'the people who best feed my habit' hee hee). So, when is the next one due out?

Oh, and dinner last night was pretty good! Maybe 'cooking without looking' is not so bad after all.

I am 2/3 thru HSB and I am thrilled with it and amazed that it is such a great love story. I never ever read books that are "girly", and yet I find the sweetest lovwe in so many unexpected places. The Time Travelers Wife was my all-time fav.,
