Bless your sweet heart G for posting that link! Joe brought up all the reasons I LOVE L&K...the "emotional investment" I have in the characters was the main thing. I'm soooooooo tired of reading stories or watching movies with characters I don't give a shit about. I love the Locke family and I am truly "emotionally invested" in what happens to them!

Another thing that I love about Joe is that the STORY is sooooo important to him. He talks about how, just in case the comic doesn't sell well, he is still completely devoted to telling the story! Even if it ends up only being a few issues, he MUST finish the story! I love that about him! The story is paramount! Even beyond his devotion to his loyal readers is his devotion to the STORY! God...how I admire that!

There's only piece of the interview I didn't agree with though. About Spider-Man Unlimited #8, Joe said "it’s just a terrible piece of writing", I actually liked it and "got" it. I wish in midst of all Spider-Man's recent retcons, Marvel would let Joe revisit the title character with the Fanboyz(Duff Memphis, Ozzie Sinatra, & Roscoe Lunch) in a stand alone issue or short story. Until then... Make mine Locke & Key .

I just read Clive Barker's Seduth and wondered if we were going to possibly get a 3-D Locke & Key comic in this arc since I thought Mr. Rodriguez's linework and Mr. Foto's colors were perfect in that format. It would have been great to see Gabe's image of what's going in Bode's head in 3-D in Head Games, but the thought of a phantom Sam Lesser terrorizing the Locke children in 3-D ghost form while in Keyhouse's winding corridor's is too cool to imagine.
