Well Betsy...she's really not one of my favorite actresses but I have seen her play "tough" but I've also seen her do "vulnerable". So I think she could pull it off.

And thanks for the welcome!

Underrated actress who could be an interesting choice for the role.

On IMDB it says 2011. I really hope it comes out and it done well. Just the fact that it's taking a while is a hopeful sign that things are going to be done with care.
I want Joe to be successful but I also want him to be represented artfully and with the utmost respect for his vision. If this takes until 2015 it'll be worth it.

I am so glad someone mentioned Rob Zombie! I had him in my head the entire time I was reading the book!

I also pictured Craddock as Willem DaFoe... totally creepy!

Sheri Moon (who is Rob Zombie's real life GF) would make a good Anna and Julliette Lewis would be a good Marybeth!

I am so excited about this!

I wonder if there is any forward progress towards it coming to the big screen. Havent heard anything about it in awhile.

I check IMDB periodically and haven't seen anything new. Hope they aren't giving up on it!

Bruce Campbell as Jude. He's great at delivering one liners. I could see Christina Ricci as the girls. She's already played the ultimate goth daughter and co-starred with a ghost.

You know who I would love to see as Craddock? Ian McKellen
