Waiting for the Dutch translation HSB

Postby Jacqueline_From_Holland on Tue Jul 17, 2007 3:56 pm

Hi Joe (and other ghosts),

I've read an article in the Dutch thriller-magazine about Heart Shaped Box. They publiced the first chapter of your book. It made me wanna read the next chapters.
But luck is not always on my side, your book will be publiced in oktober this year (Dutch translation).
I could not wait that long, so I orderd the audio book of HSB. Normally I do not enjoy when some stranger is reading to book for me, I wanna read it myself. And I will, in oktober.
When I have 'heard' HSB in English, I will let you know what it did to me.

Stories are my life, I read them and I also write them myself.
Horror ofcourse...

Greetings from The Netherlands,

Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline. I'm one of the "other ghosts" here. 8) I hope the audio does it for you until the book comes out over there.

I lived in Germany for several years and had a few chances to visit your great country. Amsterdam was always a blast. I don't remember all the other little areas we visited, but needless to say, there were lots of windmills and tulips! :) The Hague and Delft were really fun!

Welcome!

Bill

Thanx for welcoming me on the messageboard! I received the audio book. I am planning to listning to it next week. I have a few days of work. The weather is terrible over here, so I will just stay inside and let my heart be shaped into a little black box!
