What an AWESOME debut!!! I can just imagine your Mom and Dad, how proud they must be for you! :D The book is very original and intriguing. I am over halfway done and am looking forward to the next product!!!
It reminds me of your Father's writing, BUT with a definite slant that is all your own. A very exciting prospect for a Constant reader.....And now for the Son.
There are nights when the Wolves are silent and only the Moon Howls.

I'm thinkin' that after the movie comes out (and there WILL be a movie - it's just too good of a story to pass up), Joe's gonna be beating fans and and reporters off with a cricket bat.

Wish I could say I'm pleasantly surprised, but in a rare attempt to use my psychic powers for good I looked deep into my crystal ball -- and saw this coming. It won't be long till you win over the hearts and minds of every literate person in the civilized world, Joe.

I'd wish you luck with continued success, but you won't need it.

Sorry Joe, I like your idea and I am a huge fan of your fathers, but, I cannot buy your book in HC. I will have to wait for a paperback printing to read before you get the HC treatment like your dad. I hope you earn it and congrats on your NY TIMES BESTSELLER.

And you're going to love it when you do read it, Mike.

Try the library or go to a B&N and have a drink. You can read while you sit. The down side is, you might be there all day til you finish.

i think his point was that if you did that for about an hour, you'd end up buying it and taking it home. heck, it might not even take 30 minutes.

:? For crying out loud I don't hang out in bookstores, I know what I want when I go in, grab it, browse around a little and leave. Don't have the time to sit on my ass for hours on end in Barnes & Noble or Border's reading books I might buy. That's my point get it or not.

Mike, heavens to betsy, cool it! This is not the place to get pissy. Just a little friendly persuassion. I don't have time to hang out in book stores either, so I visit my local library (I just happen to work here, too) and pick up just about any book on the bestseller lists, and then some.
Stay cool,
M.

You know what? I have 2 jobs, I'm a student, and a single parent of a special-needs child and I STILL sit on my ass for hours on end reading. I even like reading at Barnes and Nobles.

It's not my intention to jump into an argument that's not even mine with both guns blazing, but it really annoys me too see hostility directed toward people who were only trying to help. So here's the deal: be tactful and diplomatic like all us grown-ups are supposed to be, or don't post.
