Speaking from 30+ years married...you'll be wondering that a LOT in the future. Just don't let it get to you...it's perfectly normal.

As a guy I don't know of one good reason to get married. The only half way decent answer I've gotten is for tax purposes.

I use to hear a lot of the marriage problems my buddies had. Then they would ask why I wasn't married. Well, let's see... you haven't said one good thing about it. All you do is bitch about it.

I'm sorry FC. Marriage is a lot of ups and downs and the downs really, really suck. I wish I could say something to help. I will say in addition to what I've already said, is that whenever you find yourself in a really weird, irrational argument alot of times there are things being left unsaid. That there are things under the surface that are bothering you or your significant other that aren't being acknowledged. As I told M earlier, sometimes you just need to ask "ok honey, what is REALLY bothering you?"

And g...the reason people should get married is...um...um...ok, give me a coupla days to think about it.

marriage is a up and down rollercoaster. Just keep your seat and hold onto your azz.......thats my only advice. I always try to remember why i got married in the first place, it sometimes helps.

Some people actually like my gothic love songs/poems. I should stick to writing verse. I never really liked prose anyway. Not my cup o tea.
