New Year's Resolutions

Postby grasking on Thu Dec 31, 2009 7:55 am

I usually don't make New Year's Resolutions except to drink more booze and visit the nudie bar more often. Unfortunately, I can't even keep up with that resolution anymore. But this year is going to be different. I've been wasting too much time surfing the web. I need post a daily limit. I'm not sure what. I haven't done the math yet. Well, I gotta go. I only have about 16 hours left of unlimited surfing.

I was gonna do the same thing. Spend less time on the net. I am wasting my precious time on this earth with things & people that don't matter.

And learn to let things go. Don't sweat the small stuff.

There are simply too many things I need to "resolute" so I'm just gonna save time and give up now.

I have been inspired to make a couple of NY's Resolutions:

1) It's a new year...a clean slate and I am going to forgive myself for being human and making mistakes.
2) I'm going to try really, really hard not to worry so much about my kids. I spend way too much time imagining all the horrible things that can happen. Now that they're grown I have almost no control over their lives and all that constant worrying is a waste of time, not to mention a health hazard.

TO FIND A JOB...but first, to get done with this thesis. Other surprises may be around the corner.

Finding a job. That's a good one, yet for me it needs a little tweaking. Find a new job.

Don't do resolutions, BUT, after an argument with my wife today, wondering why I bothered (oh dear!).

Keeping a sketch journal might be a good one.

You draw, sketch and paint in the journal as well as write. Basically it's an art journal or diary.
