Ewwww.....off to see if this is real....

Ok, real, but explainable: (and no less gross....)
http://mashable.com/2009/07/02/unknown-lifeform/

Ed Buchan, environmental coordinator at the Raleigh Public Utilities Department, said staff biologists have confirmed that the “creature” is actually a colony of tubifex worms. The colonies attach themselves to roots that gradually work themselves into weak points in the pipes. “They seem to respond to the light from the camera,” Buchan said. “That light is pretty hot.”

The worms naturally occur in sewage and pond sediment and are actually sold both live and dried as fish food in pet stores. He said other staff members in the department have seen it before, although sightings aren’t particularly common. “I’ve seen a lot of sewer TV before and I’ve never seen them,” he said. “We were surprised. We didn’t know immediately what it was.”

I can imagine a fish eating one of those, the ones on the video looked kinda big.

When I had my aquarium up and doing well, I had a Ghost Fish and I bought live tubifex worms at the pet store to feed him. They were thin, wriggly, and completely gross.

In the video, I imagine they were living beneath the layers of that mucousy, snotty stuff on the walls.....UGH. It was so gross....it'll probably make an appearance in one of my dreams now....blechhhhh.

LOL!!
Thanks for posting that LK. I haven't been able to stop thinking about those things and wondering if they were some kind of alien life form that came here to take over the planet!

I can't imagine what the fees will be.

Scalping has reached a whole 'nother level! I can't imagine there are 40+ people out there willing to pay that! Makes me wish I could find a buyer for the Brooklyn Bridge. :(

What was it? It doesn't show anymore. It's been removed.

It was two tickets to Michael Jackson's memorial service at the Staple's Center on Tuesday. The last bid was over $600,000. I don't know how legit it was.

So I guess Gary Oldham spent a lot of time on his knees during the filming of this.

Wait a minute. That movie is from 2003.
