That was a cool little interview.

While watching the video, my 6-year old wandered over and asked, "Who's that?"

I said, "His name is Joe."

"Do you know him?"

"Well, I've met him a couple times."

He watches the interview a couple seconds longer, "Are you going to say 'hi'?"

So, Joe, wherever you are, my son sends his greetings.
"Open your mind to the endless possibilities of the human soul."
- Joe Hill, Heart Shaped Box

"And now," cried Max, "let the wild rumpus start!"

That was a great interview. I really enjoy authors talking about their work.

Did you notice how Joe was rocking himself? Kind of like one of Nicolae Ceausescu's orphans comforting themselves?

It's okay Joe. I'm a big rocker and swayer too. Maybe we can form our own support group.

i'm a rocker, too, but i'm taking pills and injections, as well as looking for a 12 step program. also, i just picked up a book called women who self-soothe too much, but oddly, it isn't what i thought that it would be about.

nice interview, joe, but a haunted ipod? guess who'll be eyeing hers with suspicion when the batteries start to weaken.

I've always been a self-soother with my rocking. I'm like a Cobra that way. Back and forth, trance-like with my beady snake eyes. It definitely keeps me from spitting shit in your face.

And, I sway because if I stand still, my back starts to hurt.

I fit right in when Jesus and his homeboys are in town.

I definately like his ipod idea though.

Very cool interview, and I like Joe's voice and accent. I'm from Nebraska so it was an accent to me even if it's not a true accent. I could fall asleep to that voice, in a good way, not a boring way. Watching that interview made me think of Homer Feltz for some reason.
