COMIC-CON 2008..I have an idea

Postby demorganakamark on Wed Apr 09, 2008 11:53 am

OK, for those who can not make comic con 2008, im going to go. If we can somehow get some info on if joe and G will be doing any signings , i would be more than ok with bring people's copy of 'locke & key'......so, if you think that im worth trusting and if joe is siging...or even let him know that there will be a guy showing up with people's copies of "locke & key" then im all in for it.......tell me what u think. It's just a suggestion since the people here all feel like friends.

Another who is definitely on of us. :)

Very nice offer, Mark! In case you missed it, janis took a ridiculous number of our copies of H-SB to a signing Joe did in DesMoines and he was so very gracious about it. He had her go to the end of the line and then took his time signing them all at the end of the evening, chatting with her and having some pics taken. :)

I'll definitely take you up on that offer- thanks!! :D

*Unless Joe changes his mind and comes to Michigan where he has loads of fans.....* HintHint

janis wound up bringing a big, rolling suitcase to lug all the books around. At least comic books are easier/lighter to deal with. :D

Very nice of you to do this! Let us know where/when to send along our comics...how you'd like to be pd for shipping, etc....

mark - i wouldn't advise leaving your e-mail there...the regulars here are ok and wouldn't abuse it, but you never know who/what might be lurking. there is a private message function here where people can send you a PM and ask for your address, which i wouldn't put that here, either. you can PM shane and ask him to remove your e-mail from your post, since currently we are not allowed to edit.

when i did it with HSB, i bought the books at the signing and had people pay me by paypal. you could find out how much shipping back our L&K's to us would be and have people send it to you with their L&K. or if you have paypal, that works well, too.

if you don't know about PM, go to the top of the main page, and it says Profile: you have X new messages. click there.

Like i said earlier, if we can get some more info about the event...or even better if Joe tells us its ok...then i already asked my future wife if its ok and ask if she could help(she said no problem) to carry the books..
