You know Joe, the south is much warmer this time of year than where your are touring. Most especially South Carolina, at the beach. Don't you like the southern beaches? Come on, no traffic this time of year...water is still nice and warm...tourists are gone...still lots to do, just no crowds!
Hello??

But the leaves are changing in the Great State of Maine..and the Black Flies and Skeeters are gone and things are darn near perfect.

Same can be said for MI right now.....we're not even at peak yet for the Fall colors. :)

C'mon, Joe. We'll take you and the family to the cider mill, on a tour of Greeenfield Village, maybe catch a Red Wings game.....heck, we even have a 4-story bookstore that's purported to be haunted. I live here and haven't checked it out yet!
*They've updated their website since I last checked.... for those interested:

North Carolina is Beautiful...

Oh Joe...You can come south, can't you? I work in a B&N in Winston and we'd love to have you. I've hand sold several copies of HEART SHAPED BOX...guaranteed those folks the read of their life or I would personally give them their money back. Not a one wanted to return it. Now we're only a week away from the release date and I promise you I'll be telling everyone I know about 20TH CENTURY GHOSTS as well. It's one of the best books of short stories I've ever read. Heck...I'll even do it if you can't make it down our way. It's a fantastic read...already have my copy on pre-order (even though you know I already have one---I want one in HC, too. Of course, my first copy will always be my favorite) and I know folks will love it from the first page to the last. Anyway, if you ever do decide to come south, don't forget us in NC. We'll treat you right, I promise!!!

King, Joe hates the western states. And you know why?

Are you really going to make me say it?

Oh alright. Three words.

Park. City. Utah.
