The day was fun, for the most part. The kids were cranky, cause I kept going back to Joe to get more stuff signed and they just wanted to look around and beg me to buy them something! LOL
Every time I looked, Joe had someone with him, so that's cool.
Joe was very gracious and signed a boat load of stuff for me and others!

Thanks again Joe!! Hope you had a good time too!!

Hey Nerak, thanks for sharing those pics with everyone. I look like a goof in the one of me and Dawn with Joe sitting down. What was I doing? Are my eyes closed?

Had a good time at the signing. Joe was a great guy as usual. I gave him a "I Brought Sexy Back" pin. I saw it in a comic book store a few months after the tv interview where he said that. I just had to buy it! He put it on right away., too. The button was pink and went well with the gray shirt he was wearing. 8)

I let someone borrow the HSB paperback I had him sign. I am regretting it now. What if it comes back with chocolate fingerprints all over it? Or worse, she could say it was stolen or her kid lost it! At least Joe personalized it, hopefully she doesn't find another "CJ" and sell it to them.

Joe,thanks for appearing at the comic con and indulging us when we kept coming back to your table 3 or 4 times. You were really the only reason we went! And enjoying the hell out of Locke & Key, the next issue can't get here fast enough. :)

Peace, CJ

Thanks for sharing those pics NE! I hope Joe will be doing an appearance soon...well, besides SDCC.
BTW, Manchester looks like a lovely town.

I went to New Hampshire College (which I believe is now Southern New Hampshire College) for a year. It was a nice little town. I haven't been up there in years.

The second best day in a few weeks, it's been raining here every day like a bad Crow movie, So I figured I would go to Manchester and take a few pictures. It is quite a beautiful city. It was originally one big factory city. You can see the converted mills everywhere.

I love it! It reminds me a little of downtown Winston Salem. They have a lot of old factory buildings downtown there too, several of which have been turned into lofts for sale/rent. I'd love to live in one. How big is Manchester?

At any rate, you have strengthened my resolve to take a trip to the NE area. Must be really nice this time of year!

Wow...thanks NE. When I finally do get up that way I'm gonna visit. I especially like the climate there...doesn't look like it gets any hotter than 82. I practically melt down here in the summer! I'm a cold weather gal.
